Hunger Inc., the hospitality group behind much-loved brands such as The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, and Bombay Sweet Shop, commissioned us to design their new office within an old mill property in South Mumbai.
Inspired by Hunger’s philosophy of letting seasonal produce take centre stage, the interiors express a similar material honesty, exposed plywood edges, and MS angles define a semi-modular framework. The joinery between wood and steel is intentionally left visible, highlighting the care taken to bring these two “ingredients” together.
