The long, narrow, and irregularly shaped site posed unique design constraints. Sharing a wall with an adjacent plot required thoughtful spatial planning. To address this, we incorporated two large shafts that separate the three building masses.

Each flat boasts its own private, semi-open verandah at the entry. These intimate outdoor spaces provide a threshold between the inside and the outside by maintaining privacy as well as a connection to the outdoors.

The central mass—the heart of each apartment—is the living-dining-kitchen area. We designed it as a square, allowing for unobstructed views and a sense of spaciousness. Large spans, exceeding 8 metres, create an airy and seamless flow between the living, dining, and kitchen zones. Panoramic views from this central space connect residents to their surroundings.

The remaining two masses house spacious bedrooms strategically positioned along the front and back edges of the plot. Each bedroom is a private sanctuary, complete with its own study area, ample storage, and a generously sized bathroom.

Under the central mass, we have created a sunken common space—a hub for common activities and gatherings. Additionally, the ground level features a clubhouse equipped with a kitchen and an open space for barbecues—an ideal spot for socialising.
